African Grey Parrot

I met 3 beautiful African Grey Parrots.  They are gorgeous grey birds with very small yellow eyes and red tip on their tails.

This bird is the biggest of the three.  It's very quiet, always sitting on the same spot and staring at our every movement.  I noticed it hates men.  Whenever it sees men approaching the cage, it stares hard, head and body go downward and its fur all standing / puffy looking like it's ready to attack them.

This medium size bird is always saying - Hello, 你好吗 and woo hoo. I taught it to make the tuck tuck sound and it learnt fast.  Today is my second visit and it's able to say Hello, 你好吗, woo hoo and make the tuck tuck sound.  Wow, it's smart.

It loves to play swinging.  It will hold on to the grill with its beak and swing.  Then say, Hello, 你好吗, yoo hoo and tuck tuck.  Then use both feet to grab onto the grill and swing.  It repeats these steps over and over again.  I wonder if it's feeling bored or something.

This smallest one really captures my heart.  It's very timid, always sitting on the same spot staring at people.  But today I talked to it and it decided befriend me.  When I walked around the cage, it followed me wanting to be close to me.  I showed it my finger and without hesitation, its head went down and out of the grill, wanting me to pat it.  It seems to love human contact.

Wow, I'm totally in love with them, especially this one.
Though cats are my favorite, I can't resist other animals especially those that love me.  They are simply too loveable to be rejected.

我喜欢, 喜欢我的动物.
